If you enroll in the plan AFTER the 15th of any month, your initial premium payment will be taken upon enrollment and be applied on the first of the following month. Coverage will begin the first of the month following the month the initial payment is applied to. The time following the initial premium payment allows for your information to be transmitted to the insurance company and for cards to be ordered and mailed. (Example: I purchased the Vision Plan on April 23rd, and an initial premium payment was deducted. This premium will be applied to May, and coverage will be effective on June 1.)

You should receive a Vision Plan card on or before the effective date when coverage begins. If you do not, please call Harrington Health at 800-235-7160 ext. 84766 or ext. 84802.
